Before We Begin.
Since our humble beginning, Union Point Church has always been about one mission, "Lifting Jesus and Others UP". The year 2024 brought us many turns in the road. New opportunities met with new challenges. Through it all we saw the church grow and expand in our mission efforts. We are thankful for what Jesus has done in and through each of us in this family as co-laborers and ambassadors of His kingdom.
As well, we invite you to read through with an ever prayerful focus of offering up prayers for the upcoming year. Let's pray together that Jesus would continue to do immeasurably more as we seek to Lift Him and others UP.

FINANCIAL
REPORT
In light of the Gospel, we see that Jesus gave everything as a sacrifice and to worship God. In Jesus, we see that God withheld nothing from us but gave all for our sake, for His purpose of reconciliation and redemption. This perspective is the way we continually view everything in our lives, especially when it comes to financial offerings through the local church. Because of your obedience, we have seen ministry expanded, local families in need reached and missions/planting efforts funded regionally and abroad. As you read/examine, give thanks to God for his provisions and faithfulness and pray that we would be able to accomplish even more through Him in 2025.

Update
We had an amazing year in our music and production ministry! We were able to grow our team by adding new musicians and singers throughout the year! They've all been a great addition to our family and it's been amazing being able to grow closer with some new people.
Just a short 7 years ago, we had our first night of worship, "Ascent." I can't help but marvel and reminisce at what the Lord has done and grown over the last years. It's such a special time of worship for us and our families and God continues to bring astounding miracles and intimate moments with Him that's truly indescribable.
This year included seeing new leaders step up, new members step out of the comfort zone, and new friendships and families flourish. We look forward to 2025 and what the Lord has in store.

Point Peeps
Update
This year has been absolutely incredible for our Point Peep kids, their wonderful families, and our phenomenal leaders!!! Our Point Peeps Mission is to point children towards Christ and to equip parents to lead their children to Jesus.
2024 was an exciting year for our Kid’s Ministry! In March, we had the opportunity to host an Easter event where families explored different stations and experienced the story of Jesus and His resurrection in a meaningful way. Additionally, we had the joy of hosting several Kid’s Nights filled with games, crafts, fun food, and, most importantly, lessons about Jesus! These nights have been a huge success, and we are thrilled to continue them every other month throughout 2025. We also had the incredible opportunity to love on our community through our annual Lift-N-Treat event! This special night was made possible by so many people in our Union Point family who stepped up to serve, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved. We are so grateful for all that God is doing in our Kid’s Ministry and look forward to an amazing year ahead!
This year, we were able to add even more wonderful leaders to our incredible team. Our leaders have such a heart for this ministry and have done an incredible job pouring into these precious kids and pointing them to Jesus each week! In order to have all of our classrooms open and fully staffed during both services, we need a total of 30 leaders each Sunday. Currently, we are able to open four classrooms per service, with our Kindergarten–5th grade students meeting together during both services. Our goal is to soon offer a dedicated classroom for our 3rd–5th grade students, creating an even more tailored learning environment for them. We are continually praying and trusting that God will provide additional leaders who feel called to serve in this ministry. We are excited to see how He continues to grow and strengthen our team!
We are deeply grateful for God’s faithfulness throughout this past year—it has been truly incredible to witness this ministry grow! Words cannot express how thankful I am for the unwavering support of our leaders, kids, parents, and partners at Union Point Church. I am beyond excited to see all that God has in store for our Point Peeps Ministry in the year ahead!

Hospitality
Update
2024 was a Great year for the hospitality team!! We added 17 new leaders to our team! We now have a total of 62 leaders! It has been amazing to see the relationships form, not only amongst those serving together but also with those that they are serving. Everyone is willing to serve more than they are scheduled and always willing to jump right in to help where they see that help is needed.
The team really stepped up to serve not only Sunday mornings, but special events such as our Ascent worship nights and Christmas Eve eve. We have also had a few lead our rally on Sunday mornings. It has been great to hear from them what God laid on their hearts to share.
Our mission as a team is to be sure everyone feels the love of Jesus as they walk through our doors. We want everyone to feel an authentic welcome and see that we are a family of disciples, with the hope that they will become disciples as well. I am beyond thankful for this team and their love for each other and the new faces that walk through our doors!

The Exchange
Update
The Exchange was made on the idea that students would have a place to come and exchange the things of our culture for the things of life. The idea comes from John 10:10 where Jesus said, " The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
This past year has been an exciting one! The Exchange has steadily grown over time. While that does mean numbers, I also mean more than that. I. feel like we have significant growth in both our students and volunteers when it comes to their relationship with Jesus. While it is always great to see the physical growth of a youth group, nothing can compare to seeing the fruits of the spirit lived out.
To highlight this I want to mention one of my volunteers, Sadie Jackson. She is someone who spent her teenage years in the Exchange and she will openly admit that she hated me after the first time I spoke! I spoke on having an anxiety free life, and it was something that Sadie thought was impossible. Over the next couple of years, I saw a transformation in her life. She went from someone who would worry about anything to someone who would step out and rely on God. It is something that is visibly lived out in her life. Now at the age of 19, Sadie is the Exchange's youngest volunteer! She continues to seek God and grow in Him. Recently she spoke for the first time on a Sunday night as she is now a part of the Exchange Teaching Team!
Working in youth ministry can be difficult. Some kids show up just to hang out, while some kids are there because their parents make them attend. Many nights you speak to a room full of students and you aren't sure if anyone even heard a word you said! It can be disheartening. Yet at the same time, we understand that the words of life when spoken will not return void. Whether the students become a Sadie at 19 or students become a Sadie at the age of 40, we are here to offer a space where students can exchange culture for Life!

Impact Story
Testimonial
My wife, Marilyn, and I have been given the tremendous gift of becoming a part of Union Point Church. Although we have been attending Union Point for six months now, we knew after the first few times attending that it would be our church home. When we first walked in, we were welcomed right away by numerous people which put us at ease. I am now a part of that welcoming team.
The messages are meaningful, personal, and based on scripture. The staff seems very close and they share that feeling of being a part of a family, God's family, with others in the congregation. Community groups are very positive, supporting, and the members really care about lifting each other through Jesus and his teachings. I had the opportunity of attending a men's retreat. Their inspirational testimonies allowed me to make many new friends and start a small men's group.
Union Point Church offers so many opportunities to be a part of something bigger and share God's word and generosity. For example, we have had the joy of participating in a Bible study, a community group, a year end celebration, a leader's breakfast, a food drive, and a worship night centered around singing God's praises. Union Point Peeps, the youth ministry, focuses on God's word and continues to grow. Marilyn is part of that team now and is so grateful.
To put our testimony in simple terms, we have found our people in Union Point!
